Seapoint has an array of exposed reef breaks that provide fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the southeast. In autumn and winter, big SW ground swells make their way up the peninsula and offer some epic lefts along this coastline dubbed ‘The Platinum Mile’. Reef breaks provide lefts and rights. Best around high tide when the tide is rising. It’s sometimes crowded here. Take care of rocks in the line up.
