Bog Bay in Kwazulu-Natal is an exposed beach break that has pretty consistent waves throughout winter. Summer gets a bit kak with the prevailing onshore. Winter offers the best conditions for surfing. The best wind direction is from the west. Light onshore winds ruin the quality. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the southeast.
